Supporting Health, Education, Social, and Economic Research and Policy in South Australia and the Northern Territory

Delivering high quality linked data for evidence-based research and policy evaluation

Data Linkage Demonstration Projects

In the process of building South Australia's data linkage capacity, the SA NT Data Linkage Consortuim agreed to undertake three demonstration projects. One related to cancer being led by the Cancer Council and the other two demonstration project is dealing with early childhood development, one in South Australia and the other in the Northern Territory.

The three demonstration projects were completed at SA NT DataLink to test the process and value for using Data Linkage to provide information about health, education, social and development outcomes. Importantly these projects identify what is required to effectively link various data sources and build capacity for ongoing policy relevant research.
